What if settling in Lille became easier ?

Are you preparing to come to Lille for your studies or research ?

Do you have questions about accommodation, administrative procedures, or settling in France ?

What if you could be supported at every step to start your stay with peace of mind ?

Enhanced support for international audiences

The University of Lille is expanding its welcome services with Mi+, a personalized support program designed for international students, doctoral candidates, and researchers.

This program complements the free services already provided by the International Office (Maison Internationale), which supports international audiences with their first steps upon arrival.

With Mi+, you can go further by benefiting from individualized follow-up and support tailored to your needs.

A tailored program with dedicated support

The Mi+ program offers personalized guidance, with a dedicated contact person to help you prepare for your stay.

Three complementary and combinable options are available:

  • Daily life: support with essential procedures (transport, phone services, banking, etc.)
  • Accommodation: assistance with finding and booking housing
  • Family: support for the integration of the beneficiary and their relatives (partner, children)

The goal is to help you settle in the best possible conditions so you can focus on your academic or research project.

A simple and accessible process

The Mi+ program has been designed to be easy to access and quick to set up :

  • Choose one or more options based on your needs,
  • Create your user account on the platform,
  • Pay the support fees online,
  • A Mi+ coordinator will contact you to organize your personalized support.

A commitment to high-quality welcome services

With Mi+, the University of Lille reaffirms its commitment to providing high-quality support for international audiences.

Led by the Office for International Affairs, this program is part of the WILL project (Welcoming Internationals to Lille), supported by the French National Research Agency (ANR) and the European Metropolis of Lille (MEL).

Initially rolled out to a limited number of beneficiaries, the program is designed to expand progressively in the coming years.
