With 67,000 students and courses that cover most economic sectors, the University of Lille is now a major player in the Hauts-de-France higher education sector. It offers secondary school students, current and future university students, and corporate employees courses for all stages of life, through flexible teaching formats to develop advanced vocational skills adapted to the needs of the professional world, which are compatible with public and private funding opportunities.

The university offers continuing education for management-level employees, with short courses aimed at companies wishing to train their employees and provide them with certification or diplomas. For example, there is a plan to create a university certificate in artificial intelligence and a university diploma in bio-entrepreneurship.
