MOOC : Preventing and combating sexual and sexist violence in the workplace
Preventing and combating sexual and sexist violence in the workplace are major challenges in our society. Many experts are now investigating these issues.
With the support of the Secretary of State for Equality between Women and Men and Combating Discrimination, the University of Lille’s labour law research team has created an interdisciplinary MOOC (“massive open online course”) which aims to raise public awareness of these issues, while contributing towards training people within companies.
The MOOC provides precise and scientifically recognised information that results from the combined expertise of university staff and professionals (lawyers, doctors, psychologists, labour inspectors, representatives of the police and the public prosecutor's office, victims’ organisations, human rights’ activists, staff representatives, the HR department, etc.).
Objectives
This MOOC aims to raise awareness of and provide information on sexual and sexist violence in the workplace to the largest number of people.
It also aims to provide signposts for potential victims of sexual and sexist violence at work, and to support people both inside and outside the workplace on managing these situations.
It aims to provide all individuals with the resources to be able to act and react.
Registration (obligatory) open at: http://www.fun-mooc.fr/
Start of the MOOC: Tuesday 7 January 2020, duration: 5 weeks
